Day of Hope Ceremony

The Annual Day of Hope Ceremony held April 5, 2006 was a success. 

This years Guest Speaker was Alabama Attorney General Troy King.  Mr. King reminded all who attended the need to protect children and survivors of abuse.  Mr. King announced new legislation that will require offenders to wear ankle bracelets and

 

Carnations were thrown to remember all the children that die as a result of child abuse.  Thanks to everyone who supported the Russell County Child Advocacy Center in this day of hope for bringing recognition to the issues of child abuse awareness and prevention.
