Lucy Murillo

Lucy Tovar Murillo is Prevention Specialist at Russell County CAC. She has also been trained to provide Extended Assessments as well. Lucy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and in 2007 graduated with a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Troy University. She currently holds an Associate Professional Counselor license and is also a certified counselor (NCC), through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

Lucy has provided individual, family and group therapy sessions to children, adolescents, and families for 5 years. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and has been fortunate enough to provide therapy to non-English speaking clients as well. Her passion lies in helping children and families and hopes to continue to expand services to the Latino population.
